Settings
Settings is where you configure the application — how it looks, what language it speaks, and in time how it notifies and protects you. It is deliberately not where your identity lives.
Chapter Overview
One screen, six tabs: General, Notifications, Security, Privacy, Apps and About.
Settings and Account are kept apart on purpose
The screen states the division repeatedly — "Identity, profile, verified addresses, digital assets, and mode remain inside Account", and on Security, "Account owns who you are. Settings owns how access is managed."
It is a useful rule for finding things. Anything about you — username, public profile, social links, discoverability, addresses — is in Profile. Anything about the application is here.
Two ways in, one screen
The Settings tile on Apps, and the SETTINGS tab on Profile. That Profile tab is unlike its neighbours: selecting it leaves Profile and opens Settings as its own screen.
What works today
Theme and Language, both on General. Most other controls carry the screen's own Future version marker, meaning they are laid out but not yet active. The chapter says which is which rather than walking you through something that will not respond.

Common Workflows
Switch to dark mode
Settings → General → Appearance → Dark. It applies across every module immediately, with nothing to save.
Read UNIT in your own language
Settings → General → Locale and formats. Nineteen languages, each listed in its own script.
Check what is public about you
Settings → Privacy. The tab sets out what is visible when enabled against what is never exposed, and links straight into Discover and your profile.
