Releases
Overview
When you unstake, the tokens do not come straight back. Releases is where you watch them through the unbonding period and withdraw them at the end — "View your pending and ready releases."
Two tabs: Pending Unstakes for what is still waiting, and Ready to Withdraw for what has arrived.
What You Can See
The three figures
- Pending Unstakes
- Still unbonding — the amount and how many records.
- Ready to Withdraw
- Through the unbonding period and waiting for you to collect.
- Active Staked
- What is still staked and earning, with View Position to open it.
Withdrawing
Above the table sits Available to withdraw now with a single Withdraw button. Unlike rewards, releases are not collected row by row — everything ready comes back in one action.
The table
- Date started
- When you submitted the unstake.
- Amount
- How much is in that release.
- Unbonding period
- Shown in both forms — 1 Day (1 era) — so the era count and the real time are clear.
- Available on
- The date it becomes withdrawable.
- Time remaining
- The countdown, empty once it has arrived.
- Status
- Ready when it can be withdrawn.
- Details
- Expands a single release.
The list sorts Newest First, and the empty state is helpful rather than blank: "Unstake UNITCOIN from the Earn page and it will appear here while it unbonds."
The screen sets out three things in one place: tokens stay locked for the full unbonding period once an unstake is submitted; unstaking does not earn rewards; and unstakes cannot be cancelled from this app.
Before You Begin
- An unstake in progress, or one that has completed. Start at Earn.
- Enough to cover the fee for the withdrawal.
- Patience. Nothing here can be hurried and nothing can be cancelled.
How to Use This Screen
Withdraw everything that is ready
- Open the token, select Earn, then Releases.
- Select Ready to Withdraw.
- Check Available to withdraw now.
- Select Withdraw — it takes everything ready in one transaction.
- Confirm and sign.
- The tokens appear in your wallet.
Check when an unstake will land
- Select Pending Unstakes.
- Find the release by date started and amount.
- Read Available on and Time remaining.
- Use Details for a single release.
See your whole position
- Read the three figures together — pending, ready and active staked.
- Select View Position for what is still earning.
- Compare with Claim Rewards for what that stake has produced.
What Happens Next
Withdrawn tokens return to your ordinary wallet balance, free to use.
They stop earning the moment you unstake, not when you withdraw — so an unstake left sitting in Ready to Withdraw is doing nothing at all. Collect it, or restake it.
Tips
- Withdraw takes everything ready at once. No need to work through the list.
- Ready tokens earn nothing. There is no reason to leave them sitting.
- Unstakes settling on the same day come back together — useful if you are staging several.
- The unbonding period shows as both days and eras, so you can match it against the reward schedule.
- Check here first if tokens you unstaked are missing from your wallet.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Can I cancel an unstake?
- No — "unstakes cannot be cancelled from this app."
- Do unbonding tokens earn anything?
- No. Unstaking stops the earning immediately.
- Do I withdraw each release separately?
- No. One Withdraw takes everything currently ready.
- What is an era?
- The chain's reward period, about a day. Unbonding is shown in both — 1 Day (1 era).
- Why did two unstakes become available together?
- Unstakes sharing a settlement period are released together.
- What happens if I never withdraw?
- The tokens stay in Ready to Withdraw, earning nothing, until you collect them.
Troubleshooting
- My unstaked tokens are not in my wallet
- Check Ready to Withdraw — reaching the end of unbonding does not move them automatically.
- Pending Unstakes is empty but I unstaked
- It may already be ready. Check the other tab.
- Time remaining is blank
- The wait is over. That release is Ready.
- Withdraw will not proceed
- Check there is something ready, and that you can cover the fee.
- The amount does not match what I unstaked
- Releases settling in the same period are combined into one figure.
