UNIT App

The Token Page

Overview

Selecting a token in Explore Markets opens that token's own page. It is where you see what the token is, how it is performing, and what you can do with it.

The page is not the same for every token. UNIT has four kinds, and each one offers different things because each one is a different thing. A wrapped asset can be bought and swapped; a creator token with no market yet cannot. Knowing which kind you are looking at explains most of what you will and will not find.

The four kinds of token

What each kind is, and what its page offers.
KindWhat it isWhat the page offers
Native
$UNITCOIN
UNIT's own coin. There is one. Swap · Reward · Liquidity
Wrapped
$BTCU $ETHU
An asset from another chain, held on UNIT. Buy · Swap · Liquidity · Holders · Bank · Treasury
Stablecoin
$USDU $EURU
Wrapped fiat, acquired against collateral. Acquire · Holders · Treasury · About
Creator
$WORKCOIN
A token someone has issued. Holders · Bank · Treasury — and a market only once one exists

City and Vertical tokens — $BERLIN, $CAIRO, $ART, $BIKE — are creator tokens organised around a place or a subject, and their pages work the same way.

Native — $UNITCOIN

The UNITCOIN token page. A back arrow sits above the name Unit Coin and the symbol $UNITCOIN, with the price $0.0560 and its 24-hour change, and a Share Token control. Chart range buttons read 1D, 7D, 1M, 3M and 1Y. Three action cards follow: Swap, "Trade UNITCOIN for other assets"; Reward, "Claim and stake rewards for UNITCOIN"; and Liquidity, "Provide liquidity and earn trading fees". Below, a section headed ABOUT UNITCOIN describes the coin, ending in a "View token details" link.
The native token page — price, chart, three actions and a description $UNITCOIN

The native page is the simplest of the four, because UNITCOIN needs no explanation of what it wraps or who issued it. Its three actions are the things you can do with the coin:

Swap
Trade UNITCOIN for another asset.
Reward
Claim and stake rewards — see Earn.
Liquidity
Provide liquidity to a pool and earn a share of trading fees.

View token details at the foot opens the full facts page.

Wrapped — $BTCU, $ETHU

The BTCU token page. The header reads Bitcoin, BTCU, "Wrapped Bitcoin on Unit Network", with the asset ID and issuer beneath, and Buy, Swap and Liquidity actions. A price of $64,041.90 is labelled as the oracle price for Bitcoin, the asset BTCU represents, and a second panel headed "Unit market price · BTCU/USDU" notes it is trading history on Unit Network, not global external-market history, with ranges 1D, 7D, 30D, 1Y and ALL. Sections follow for Price and Market, Supply — total supply, token banks, treasuries and others — and Token Information listing asset ID, token type "Wrapped Crypto", issuer, network, transferability and decimals.
The wrapped token page — the fullest of the four $BTCU

A wrapped token represents an asset that lives on another chain, so its page carries more:

Two prices, and the difference matters
The oracle price is what the underlying asset is worth. The Unit market price is what it has traded for on UNIT. The page says plainly that the second is trading history on Unit Network, not global external-market history — so do not read it as the world price.
Supply, broken down
Total supply, and how it is split between token banks, treasuries and everyone else.
Token information
Asset ID, token type, issuer, network, whether it is transferable, and its decimals.
Buy · Swap · Liquidity
The three things you can do with it. Buy appears here and not on the native page.
Holders · Bank · Treasury
Further pages: who holds it, its token bank, and its treasury.

Stablecoin — $USDU, $EURU

The USDU token page. A "Back to explore" link sits above the label WRAPPED FIAT, the symbol USDU and the description "US Dollar. Acquired using supported collateral assets and governed by wrapped fiat rules." Figures read Price $1.00, Holders 19, Supply 110.8M and "Mint Enabled". Four cards follow: Leaderboard with holders and participation; Treasury with reserves and backing context; About with token facts and protocol details; and Bank, marked "Reserved — coming later". A Primary Action card reads Acquire, "Acquire USDU". Beneath, a holders table lists accounts with balances and status.
The stablecoin page — a different shape, built around acquiring $USDU

A stablecoin page looks different from the others because a stablecoin is acquired rather than traded into existence. It is labelled Wrapped Fiat and describes itself as acquired using supported collateral assets.

Price, Holders, Supply and Mint Enabled
The four figures at the top. Mint Enabled tells you the token can currently be acquired.
Acquire
The primary action, and the entry point to Acquire.
Leaderboard, Treasury, About and Bank
Four cards leading onward. Bank is marked reserved, coming later — the page says so itself rather than hiding it.
Holders table
Accounts, balances and status, listed directly on the page.

Creator — $WORKCOIN and the rest

The WORKCOIN token page. The header reads UNIT WORK COIN, WORKCOIN, "Get paid. Build equity. Work on Unit Network", with the asset ID and creator beneath and a Share control. A Market section reads "No market yet — no active liquidity pool." A Token Economy section lists max supply 100,000 WORKCOIN, issued supply 0, token bank 100,000 and treasury reserve 0. A Token Information section lists asset ID 100, token type "Creator Token", issuer, network, transferability and decimals. Links follow for Holders, Bank and Treasury, and an About section repeats the description.
A creator token page before it has a market $WORKCOIN

Creator tokens are the largest group on UNIT by a wide margin. Their pages carry:

Market
Where trading would be. A token nobody has created a pool for says so — "No market yet. No active liquidity pool." That is why a creator token page may show no Swap action.
Token economy
Max supply, issued supply, what sits in the token bank, and the treasury reserve. This is the token's own economics, and it is worth reading before acquiring one.
Token information
Asset ID, type, creator, network, transferability, decimals.
Holders · Bank · Treasury
The same onward pages as a wrapped token.

What every token page shares

  • A back control to where you came from.
  • Identity — name, symbol, and for wrapped and creator tokens the asset ID and issuer.
  • A description of what the token is for.
  • Onward pages — some combination of Swap, Liquidity, Holders, Bank, Treasury and a details view. Which ones depends on the kind of token.

How to Use This Screen

Work out what kind of token you are looking at

  1. Read the header. A wrapped token says what it wraps; a stablecoin is labelled Wrapped Fiat; a creator token names its creator.
  2. Find Token Type in the token information section — it states the kind outright.
  3. Look at the actions offered. Buy points to wrapped; Acquire to a stablecoin; "No market yet" to a creator token without a pool.

Decide whether you can trade it

  1. Look for a Swap action.
  2. If there is none, check the Market section — "no active liquidity pool" means there is nothing to trade against yet.
  3. For a wrapped token, compare the oracle price with the Unit market price before assuming what it is worth here.

Read a token's economics

  1. Find Supply or Token Economy.
  2. Compare issued supply with max supply — how much of the token actually exists.
  3. Check what is held in the token bank and the treasury, which is not in circulation.
  4. Open Holders to see how concentrated ownership is.

Tips

  • Check the token type first. It explains what the page does and does not offer.
  • On a wrapped token, the Unit market price is UNIT's own trading history — the page says so. Do not read it as the global price.
  • "No market yet" is not a fault. Most creator tokens have not had a pool created for them.
  • A large token bank or treasury balance means much of the supply is not circulating.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does this token have no Swap button?
Because it has no liquidity pool. The Market section says "no market yet".
Why do wrapped tokens show two prices?
One is the oracle price of the underlying asset; the other is what it has traded for on UNIT. They are different measures and can differ.
What is a token bank?
A holding belonging to the token itself, separate from what people hold. It counts in total supply but is not circulating.
What does "Mint Enabled" mean?
The stablecoin can currently be acquired against collateral. See Acquire.
Are City and Vertical tokens different?
They are creator tokens grouped by place or subject. Their pages work the same way.

Troubleshooting

Prices and figures show dashes
Nothing to report — commonly a token with no trading yet. Dashes are used rather than zeroes.
An action leads somewhere unexpected
Swap, Liquidity and Reward open the token's own pages; Buy opens the Wallet's card flow. All keep the token you came from.
A card says "coming later"
That part is not built yet for this token. The rest of the page is unaffected.
